Copy your quick start
Open a new chat in your AI tool, paste this as one message, and send it. It has your instructions, your three tables, and the first question.
Quick start · one message—
It's one long message, and that's normal. If it looks cut off in the chat box, send it anyway; the whole thing is there.

Dashboard prompt · ClaudeTurn this into a one-page dashboard as an artifact: the number of items to order and the order total at the top, the order list as a table, and a bar chart of next week's procedures by provider.
Dashboard prompt · ChatGPTUse the Sites skill to build and publish a private, one-page interactive dashboard using the supply analysis and schedule data above. Show the number of supplies to order and the estimated order total at the top, the draft order list in a table, and a bar chart of next week’s procedure counts by provider. Keep visits and procedures separate, and show Hygiene as a combined category. Label results as estimates and the order list as a draft for review. Make it mobile-friendly, preview and verify it, then provide the live site link. Do not place an order.

Once Canvas is on, Gemini keeps it on for the rest of that chat. The bonus prompt still works; it just answers inside Canvas.
If Copilot can't make a Page, ask for the same thing as a table and a chart in the chat instead. Interactive dashboards in Pages are newer and not on every plan yet.
Change the safety stock or the chart by just asking. Dashboards look a little different every time.

Bonus: let the AI write the recipe
Bonus promptSet aside the supply recipe I pasted. For each visit type and CDT code in next week's schedule, list the consumable supplies it typically uses: room setup once per visit, materials once per procedure. Mark every quantity as an estimate, then tell me where your list differs from the recipe I pasted.
Optional: make it reusable
Want this planner to stick around after the workshop? Put the instructions in a project so every new chat already knows the job. Then you only paste the data.

Next week, paste next week's real numbers in the same shape and ask again.
All data here is made up for teaching: a sample pediatric practice of 3 doctors and 5 hygienists, scaled to your answers, with the shelf scaled item by item to match. Supply quantities and shelf counts are estimates; prices are sample public list prices from Nov 2026. Never put patient names or chart details into a chat.
